CIE Midterm Meeting 2017

It is our pleasure to invite you to the CIE Midterm Meeting 2017, which will be held in Jeju, Korea, from October 20-28, 2017.
CIE is devoted to worldwide cooperation and exchange of information on all matters related to science and the art of light and lighting, colour and vision, photobiology and image technology. With strong technical, scientific and cultural foundations, CIE is an independent, non-profit organization that serves member countries on a voluntary basis. Since its inception in 1913, CIE has become a professional organization and has been accepted as representing the best authority on the subjects that it covers and as is recognized by ISO as an international standardization body.
As always at CIE events, participation is open to all who are interested in the work of the CIE. Indeed, we look forward to your participation and contribution to discussions that will be part of this week-long event dedicated to the work of the global community of the CIE. The week-long event includes a three day conference, the CIE General Assembly, Division and Technical Committee (TC) meetings.
The CIE Midterm Meeting 2017 is being held on Jeju Island, Korea and is hosted by the CIE National Committee of Korea. Jeju was designated as Biosphere Reserve in 2002, a World Natural Heritage in 2007 and became a member of the Global Geo-Parks Network in 2010, earning three major UNESCO designations in natural sciences, additionally the Ramsar wetlands are one of the world's New Seven Wonders of Nature.
